| DBMI, LLC is the successor company to DBMI, a consulting and training company that served Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. Started in 1973 to provide consulting services on emerging database management technologies, DBMI, in response to client demand, began offering instructor-led training to IT application development personnel. In 1983, DBMI further expanded its services to include custom courseware development.
In 1986, having grown to a staff of 180 full-time employees and revenues of $13 million, DBMI was acquired by American Management Systems. Joe Wehr, an original founder and now President of DBMI, LLC, directed the training services division, which offered instructor-led training and custom courseware development.
